Consider the following depressing statistics on teen driving:

  • Automobile accidents are the 2nd leading cause of death among our country's youth.

  • Despite accounting for only 5% of all drivers, drivers under the age of 20 were involved in 13% of all accidents.

  • 1,885 drivers aged 15 to 20 died in traffic crashes in 2020

  • Alcohol is to blame for over half of all teen car accidents.

  • Speeding is involved in 25% of all teen accidents.

  • Between 6:00 p.m. Friday and 3:00 a.m. Sunday, half of all teen road fatalities occur.

  • Drivers aged 19 and under were involved in nearly 3 million car accidents in a single year.

  • Injury to yourself or others, loss of life, loss of lifestyle, or loss of personal freedom can all be the cost of making a terrible decision.
